Safeguarding Human Health, Protecting the Planet’s “Breath”

The end of every EndoFresh® scope,marks the beginning of forest restoration.

As medical technology continues to advance, growing global attention and discussion have emerged around the environmental impact of single-use medical devices.
As an innovation leader in the field of single-use gastrointestinal endoscopy, EndoFresh® remains deeply committed to this issue. We focus not only on infection control efficiency and clinical value, but also integrate environmental responsibility into the entire product lifecycle.

Sustainable Design and Innovation
Our response to environmental concerns surrounding EndoFresh® single-use gastrointestinal endoscopes:
From the earliest R&D stage, we established a core philosophy of a “closed-loop ecosystem.”

Modular structural design enabling efficient separation of different materials;

Optimized scope thickness, reducing material usage by approximately 5%;

Advancing the replacement of conventional materials with bio-based alternatives, targeting 80% coverage by 2028;

At the same time, eliminating the water, electricity, and chemical consumption associated with complex reprocessing procedures of traditional endoscopes.
Sustainability is not a slogan, but a systematic redesign.Every EndoFresh® scope contributes to building green energy for our planet. We hope this responsibility extends beyond technology and into real communities and landscapes.

Forest of EndoFresh Initiative

In 2025, we officially partnered with Evertreen, a global online tree-planting and reforestation platform, to launch the “Forest of EndoFresh” initiative.

Anyone can participate in real tree-planting projects simply by scanning a code.Through satellite monitoring and real-time data tracking technologies, every tree is verifiable, traceable, and measurable.

To date, we have:
  • Sponsored the planting of 1,001 trees;
  • Offset 800.90 tons of CO₂ emissions;
  • Supported 125.13 hours of local employment.
These are not just numbers, but a measurable commitment.
While single-use medical devices ensure “zero cross-infection risk,” they must also address environmental expectations. We are strengthening collaboration with professional medical waste management institutions to promote a closed-loop system from specialized recycling to low-carbon regeneration.

We believe true sustainability is not simply about reduction, but about achieving optimal resource efficiency while maintaining medical safety.

While safeguarding human health, EndoFresh® is also protecting our shared ecological future.
This is only the beginning.

One tree marks the beginning of ecological restoration.
One design optimization represents progress in green healthcare.
And systematic transformation is the true direction of future healthcare.
